About SoftEther VPN
SoftEther VPN is a free, open-source VPN project developed at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. It supports multiple protocols (SSL-VPN, L2TP/IPsec, OpenVPN) and lets you route your Minecraft connection through volunteer servers around the world — useful for lowering ping to distant regions, testing servers from another location, or getting back online after an IP ban. The download link goes to the official SoftEther website; it's legitimate software used far beyond Minecraft.
